Being a Stampin’ Up! Independant demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone put together that perfect project for a special occasion or just a homemade card is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
I have been interested in stamping and crafting since a very small child when I was given a John Bull letter stamp set and afternoons spent with my great aunt sewing.
I have used loads of different crafting suppliers but have often struggled to find matching shades of ink, pens, colour card, ribbon and embellishments.
Then in 2008/2009 a scrapbooking friend introduced me to a new company who did crafting products including stamp sets. That company was Stampin’ Up! I looked through the catalogue and from then on I was hooked.
In 2016 I decided to become an Independent Demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! After 5 years I took a break and signed up again in July 2022. This means I can share my passion with other crafters through classes, workshops and craft fayres.
Did you know that stamping and crafting is an amazing way to switch off from everyday situations and stresses. I use it for ‘me time’ as well as a way to meet other people and share my love of card making and scrapbooking.
I love meeting other people and fellow demonstrators!
One of my favourite events is the Stampin’ Up! On Stage events where I get to meet other demonstrators face to face. I receive the latest catalogue before anyone else, see other independent demonstrators showcasing new suites and of course the ability to order new products before anyone else.
During Covid I have been able to attend these events virtually which has meant I have been able to meet a wider of fellow demonstrators in France, Germany, Austria and The Netherlands all from the comfort of my craft room.
Since Covid I have been able to attend OnStage Lives in Vienna, Austria and Rotterdam, Netherlands and I am now busy with plans to attend the next one in Strasbourg, France.
These events are so much fun:
